ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,403,101, issued on Sept. 2, was assigned to Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (New York).

"Method of treating post-traumatic stress disorder" was invented by Dennis S. Charney (Chappaqua, N.Y.) and Adriana Feder (New York).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure provides compositions containing ketamine and methods of using those compositions for the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder."
