ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,276,221, issued on April 15, was assigned to Hyundai Motor Co. (Seoul, South Korea), Kia Corp. (Seoul, South Korea) and Faurecia Korea Ltd. (Yongin-si, South Korea).

"Catalytic converter of vehicle" was invented by Sangmin Lee (Suwon-Si, South Korea), Inkyun Na (Hwaseong-Si, South Korea), Gyuhwa Jeong (Suwon-Si, South Korea) and Dongjun Lee (Ansan-Si, South Korea).
