ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,419,330, issued on Sept. 23, was assigned to Hill's Pet Nutrition Inc. (Overland Park, Kan.).
"Pet food compositions including probiotics and methods of manufacture and use thereof" was invented by Pavinee Chinachoti (Songkhla, Thailand), Kathy Gross (Topeka, Kan.), Christina Khoo (Duxbury, Mass.) and Luis Montelongo (Lawrence, Kan.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention encompasses pet food compositions that include one or more probiotic microorganisms, which are useful to improve the health of companion animals.
