ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,279,857, issued on April 22, was assigned to Hill-Rom Services Inc. (Batesville, Ind.).

"Video used to estimate vital signs" was invented by Gene J. Wolfe (Pittsford, N.Y.), Eric Dustin Agdeppa (Cary, N.C.), Tyler Holmes (Monroe, Conn.) and Ibne Soreefan (West Chester, Ohio).
