ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 8 -- United States Patent no. 12,435,907, issued on Oct. 7, was assigned to HELIOGEN HOLDINGS INC. (Pasadena, Calif.).

"Tubular receiver for heating particles with solar energy" was invented by Andrew Stephen Oles (Baltimore), Apurba Kumar Das (Katy, Texas), Chiranjeev Singh Kalra (Irvine, Calif.) and Gary Thomas Pashko (Ludlow, Mass.).
