ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 20 -- United States Patent no. 12,527,776, issued on Jan. 20, was assigned to Genzyme Corp. (Cambridge, Mass.).

"Treatment of ciliopathies using inhibitors of glucosylceramide synthase (GCS)" was invented by Oxana Ibraghimov-Beskrovnaya (Boston), Nikolay O. Bukanov (Boston), Herve Husson (Bridgewater, N.J.) and Sarah E. Moreno (Woodstock, Ga.).
