ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 29 -- United States Patent no. 12,208,187, issued on Jan. 28, was assigned to Fresenius Medical Care Deutschland GmbH (Bad Homburg, Germany) and Fresenius Medical Care Holdings Inc. (Waltham, Mass.).

"Integrated cross contamination sensors" was invented by Martin Joseph Crnkovich (Walnut Creek, Calif.), Colin Weaver (Pleasanton, Calif.) and Christian Schlaeper (Wehrheim, Germany).
