US Patent Issued to ExxonMobil Research and Engineering, POSCO on May 27 for "Field girth welding technology for high manganese steel slurry pipelines" (South Korean, American Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,311,474, issued on May 27, was assigned to ExxonMobil Research and Engineering Co. (Annandale, N.J.) and POSCO (Pohang-Si, South Korea).

"Field girth welding technology for high manganese steel slurry pipelines" was invented by Andrew J. Wasson (Spring, Texas), Timothy D. Anderson (Spring, Texas), Douglas P.
