ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,213,962, issued on Feb. 4, was assigned to Emory University (Atlanta), The UAB Research Foundation (Birmingham, Ala.) and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Inc. (Atlanta).

"Drug resistant immunotherapy for treatment of a cancer" was invented by Harold Trent Spencer (Marietta, Ga.), Anindya Dasgupta (Anderson, S.C.) and Lawrence S. Lamb (Birmingham, Ala.).
