ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,286,462, issued on April 29, was assigned to Elanco US Inc. (Greenfield, Ind.) and Ambrx Inc. (La Jolla, Calif.).
"Porcine G-CSF variants and their uses" was invented by Peter Connor Canning (Noblesville, Ind.), Nickolas Knudsen (Escondido, Calif.) and Md Harunur Rashid (San Diego).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates to variants of porcine granulocyte colony stimulating factor (pG-CSF). The pG-CSF variants are useful in treating preventing or reducing the incidence of bacterial infections in swine. Methods of treating swine are disclosed."
