ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,291,295, issued on May 6, was assigned to Dryft Board LLC (Los Angeles).

"Truck wheels, vehicles with truck wheels, and rearward assemblies of vehicles with truck wheels" was invented by Robert David Glashan (Taitung, Taiwan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Truck wheels (100) for a truck assembly (32) of a vehicle (10) comprise a body (120) that defines an axle bore (122) that defines opposing shelves (148) for operative engagement of a pair of roller bearings (124) within the axle bore (122). The opposing shelves (148) are spaced apart by a bearing spacing (126) that is at least 12 millimeters (mm)."
