ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,473,431, issued on Nov. 18, was assigned to DOW SILICONES Corp. (Midland, Mich.).
"Silicone compositions and their applications" was invented by Lei Fang (Shanghai) and Frederic Gubbels (Seneffe, Belgium).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided are fast curing two-part condensation curable silicone compositions which cure by using titanium and/or zirconium based catalysts to generate cured gel materials which are suitable for encapsulating and/or potting electrical and/or electronic articles."
The patent was filed on Oct. 22, 2020, under Application No. 17/767,898.
