ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,354,245, issued on July 8, was assigned to Disney Enterprises Inc. (Burbank, Calif.) and ETH Zurich (EIDGENOSSISCHE TECHNISCHE HOCHSCHULE ZURICH) (Zurich).

"Hybrid two-dimensional and three-dimensional denoiser" was invented by Marios Papas (Opfikon, Switzerland), Gerhard Roethlin (Horw, Switzerland), Tunc Ozan Aydin (Zurich, Switzerland), Xianyao Zhang (Zurich, Switzerland), Farnood Salehi (Zurich) and Shilin Zhu (Emeryville, Calif.).
