ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,233,128, issued on Feb. 25, was assigned to DANA-FARBER CANCER INSTITUTE INC. (Boston).

"Degraders that target ALK and therapeutic uses thereof" was invented by Nathanael S. Gray (Boston), John M. Hatcher (Boston), Chelsea E. Powell (Brookline, Mass.) and Pasi A. Janne (Needham, Mass.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosed are bispecific compounds (degraders) that target ALK for degradation. Also disclosed are pharmaceutical compositions containing the degraders and methods of using the compounds to treat diseases and disorders characterized or mediated by aberrant ALK activity."
