ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,227,628, issued on Feb. 18, was assigned to CYTEC INDUSTRIES INC. (Princeton, N.J.).

"Toughened composite materials capable of delamination propagation resistance" was invented by Fiorenzo Lenzi (Vitulazio, Italy), Vincent Aerts (Wrexham, Great Britain), Marco Aurilia (Naples, Italy) and Hazel-Ann Hosein (Anaheim, Calif.).
