ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,253,043, issued on March 18, was assigned to Cummins Inc. (Columbus, Ind.).

"Thermal management of exhaust gas with HCCI event" was invented by Todd A. Sheridan (Fortville, Ind.), Steve D. Hart (Columbus, Ind.) and Ryan Todd Pettyjohn (Seattle).
