ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,385,116, issued on Aug. 12, was assigned to Cummins Inc. (Columbus, Ind.) and UT-Battelle LLC (Oak Ridge, Tenn.).
"Steel alloy and method of manufacture exhibiting enhanced combination of high temperature strength, oxidation resistance, and thermal conductivity" was invented by Dean T. Pierce (Knoxville, Tenn.), Govindarajan Muralidharan (Knoxville, Tenn.), James Allen Haynes (Knoxville, Tenn.), Yong-Ching Chen (Columbus, Ind.), Quancang Ma (Columbus, Ind.), Howard S. Savage (Columbus, Ind.) and Jian Zhou (Columbus, Ind.).
