ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,479,818, issued on Nov. 25, was assigned to Cornell University (Ithaca, N.Y.).
"Treatment of fibrosis with IRE1 small molecule inhibitors" was invented by Joseph P. Vacca (Telford, Pa.), Dansu Li (Warrington, Pa.) and Sarah Elizabeth Bettigole (New York).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided herein are methods of using IRE1 small molecule inhibitors in combination therapies for treating fibrosis in a subject.
