ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 2 -- United States Patent no. 12,263,223, issued on April 1, was assigned to Cornell University (Ithaca, N.Y.) and Tu Therapeutics Inc. (New York).

"Method of treating diseases of the kidney and urinary tract by administering a peptide-linked therapeutic agent" was invented by Shek Hang Benedict Law (New York), Vanessa Bellat (New York) and Benjamin Byung-min Choi (Englewood Cliffs, N.J.).
