ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,232,488, issued on Feb. 25, was assigned to COMMONWEALTH SCIENTIFIC AND INDUSTRIAL RESEARCH ORGANISATION (Acton, Australia) and AVIAGEN (Huntsville, Ala.).
"Process of transfecting primordial germ cells in an avian" was invented by Scott Geoffrey Tyack (Grovedale, Australia).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates to methods for transfecting cells.
