ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,546,895, issued on Feb. 10, was assigned to Commissariat a l'Energie Atomique et aux Energies Alternatives (Paris).

"Device of acquisition of a 2D image and of a depth image of a scene" was invented by Francois Ayel (Grenoble, France), Yvon Cazaux (Grenoble, France), Gaelle Palmigiani (Grenoble, France) and Alexis Rochas (Grenoble, France).
