ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,279,887, issued on April 22, was assigned to City University of Hong Kong (Hong Kong).

"Flexible sweat-activated graphene-coated Ni foam-based Mg-O 2 battery for stretchable microelectronics for continuous biomarker monitoring" was invented by Xinge Yu (Hong Kong), Xingcan Huang (Hong Kong) and Yiming Liu (Hong Kong).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure provides a stretchable and flexible sweat-activated graphene-coated Ni foam-based Mg-O2 battery capable of powering an intelligent and flexible electronics for health monitoring purposes with different biosensors."
