ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 2 -- United States Patent no. 12,264,118, issued on April 1, was assigned to CHINA PETROLEUM & CHEMICAL Corp. (Beijing) and SHANGHAI RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF PETROCHEMICAL TECHNOLOGY, SINOPEC (Shanghai).

"Process for producing lower olefins from oxygenates" was invented by Guozhen Qi (Shanghai), Jing Cao (Shanghai), Xiaohong Li (Shanghai), Hongtao Wang (Shanghai), Yongming Jin (Shanghai) and Pan Gao (Shanghai).
