ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,372,529, issued on July 29, was assigned to Children's Medical Center Corp. (Boston).
"Use of CD36 to identify cancer subjects for treatment" was invented by Randolph S. Watnick (Newton, Mass.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided herein are methods for identifying a subject with cancer for treatment with a Psap peptides. The subject is identified based on a level of CD36. Also provided herein are compositions and methods for treatment of a subject with cancer based on a level of CD36."
The patent was filed on March 15, 2018, under Application No. 15/922,349.
