ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,414,991, issued on Sept. 16, was assigned to CENTRE NATIONAL DE LA RECHERCHE SCIENTIFIQUE (Paris), UNIVERSITE PARIS-SACLAY-RAISON SOCIALE OBSOLETE (Saint-Aubin, France) and INSTITUT CURIE (Paris).

"Azobenzene derivatives, process for their preparation and their use for therapeutic treatment associated with ionizing radiations" was invented by Guillaume Bort (Paris), Patrick Couvreur (Paris), Simona Mura (Paris) and Frederic Pouzoulet (Breuillet, France).
