ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,415,981, issued on Sept. 16, was assigned to Cell Microsystems Inc (Research Triangle Park, N.C.) and The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, N.C.).
"Automated collection of a specified number of cells" was invented by Steven C. Gebhart (Durham, N.C.), Robert W. McClellan (Apex, N.C.), Nicholas C. Trotta (Durham, N.C.), Nancy L. Allbritton (Chapel Hill, N.C.), Peter Joseph Attayek (Durham, N.C.) and Paul Michael Armistead (Durham, N.C.).
