ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,230,159, issued on Feb. 18, was assigned to Caterpillar Inc. (Peoria, Ill.).

"Configurable monitor and parts management system" was invented by Brian B. Steketee (Grand Rapids, Mich.), David W. Baarman (Fennville, Mich.), Mark Strayer (Rockford, Mich.) and Thad Senti (Zeeland, Mich.).
