ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,544,357, issued on Feb. 10, was assigned to Brown University (Providence, R.I.) and FLORIDA ATLANTIC UNIVERSITY BOARD OF TRUSTEES (Boca Raton, Fla.).

"Compositions and methods for the treatment of Plasmodium falciparum malaria" was invented by Jonathan Kurtis (Providence, R.I.), Andrew V. Oleinikov (Boca Raton, Fla.) and Dipak K. Raj (Lincoln, R.I.).
