ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,409,761, issued on Sept. 9, was assigned to Britax Child Safety Inc. (Fort Mill, S.C.).

"Child restraint system with posture fit mechanism" was invented by Quentin G. Walsh (Fort Mill, S.C.), Mitchell L. Shellenberger (Mount Joy, Pa.), Brandon Hoover (Cornelius, N.C.) and Mark Matthew Messner (Lancaster, Pa.).
