"Maintenance of differentiated cells with laminins" was invented by Karl Tryggvason (Singapore), Karl Kristian Tryggvason (Stockholm) and Anna Domogatskaya (Ronninge, Sweden).

Generally, the natural environment of the body is replicated for the differentiated cell.
