US Patent Issued to Bayerische Motoren Werke on Nov. 11 for "Active discharge of the DC link capacitor of a three-phase inverter by way of rotating half-bridge short-circuits" (German Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,470,164, issued on Nov. 11, was assigned to Bayerische Motoren Werke AG (Munich).

"Active discharge of the DC link capacitor of a three-phase inverter by way of rotating half-bridge short-circuits" was invented by Said El-Barbari (Freising, Germany) and Christian Sanabria Von Walter (Munich).
