ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,415,146, issued on Sept. 16, was assigned to Battelle Savannah River Alliance LLC (Aiken, S.C.) and Savannah River Nuclear Solutions LLC (Aiken, S.C.).

"Low temperature decontamination of tritiated water" was invented by Xin Xiao (Augusta, Ga.), Lucas M. Angelette (Augusta, Ga.), Henry T. Sessions Jr. (Aiken, S.C.), Robert L. Rabun III (North Augusta, S.C.), James E. Klein (Martinez, Ga.) and John Kvartek (Aiken, S.C.).
