US Patent Issued to Aviat U.S. on July 15 for "Wideband operation in TVWS bands" (Canadian, Chinese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,363,551, issued on July 15, was assigned to Aviat U.S. Inc. (Austin, Texas).

"Wideband operation in TVWS bands" was invented by Seyed Mohammad Ali Arad (Richmond Hill, Canada) and Junwen Jiang (Shanghai).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosed are white space communications systems for wideband communications over TVWS bands. The white space communications systems include tunable frequency filters for providing non-contiguous coverage according to WSDB requirements blocking segments associated with occupied TV channels."
