ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,275,981, issued on April 15, was assigned to Avails Medical Inc. (Menlo Park, Calif.).
"Apparatus, systems, and methods for determining the concentration of microorganisms and the susceptibility of microorganisms to anti-infectives based on redox reactions" was invented by Oren S. Knopfmacher (San Francisco), Meike Herget (Woodside, Calif.), Nitin K. Rajan (Palo Alto, Calif.) and Michael D. Laufer (Menlo Park, Calif.).
