ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,376,786, issued on Aug. 5, was assigned to Arizona Board of Regents on Behalf of the University of Arizona (Tucson, Ariz.).

"Smartphone-based multispectral dermascope" was invented by Ross Uthoff (Seattle) and Rongguang Liang (Tucson, Ariz.).
