ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,281,988, issued on April 22, was assigned to Arizona Board of Regents on Behalf of The University of Arizona (Tucson, Ariz.).

"Photonic apparatus, methods, and applications" was invented by Tsu-Te Judith Su (Tucson, Ariz.) and Euan McLeod (Tucson, Ariz.).
