ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,458,556, issued on Nov. 4, was assigned to Arizona Board of Regents on behalf of Arizona State University (Scottsdale, Ariz.).

"Low-volume inflatable actuator composites for wearable applications and portable pneumatic source" was invented by Saivimal Sridar (Mesa, Ariz.), Souvik Poddar (Buffalo, N.Y.) and Wenlong Zhang (Chandler, Ariz.).
