ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,365,889, issued on July 22, was assigned to ARIZONA BOARD OF REGENTS ON BEHALF OF ARIZONA STATE UNIVERSITY (Scottsdale, Ariz.).

"Tunable nanoscale cages from self-assembling DNA and protein building blocks" was invented by Nicholas Stephanopoulos (Scottsdale, Ariz.) and Yang Xu (Chandler, Ariz.).
