ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,385,915, issued on Aug. 12, was assigned to ARIZONA BOARD OF REGENTS ON BEHALF OF ARIZONA STATE UNIVERSITY (Scottsdale, Ariz.).
"Detection of antigens" was invented by Ye Hu (Scottsdale, Ariz.), Xiangxing Kong (Scottsdale, Ariz.), Tanxi Cai (Scottsdale, Ariz.) and Qingbo Shu (Scottsdale, Ariz.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided herein are methods for detecting and identifying disease-specific biomarkers, such as target antigens associated with infection."
The patent was filed on June 15, 2020, under Application No. 17/617,802.
