ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,306,175, issued on May 20, was assigned to Arizona Board of Regents on behalf of Arizona State University (Scottsdale, Ariz.) and MAYO FOUNDATION FOR MEDICAL EDUCATION AND RESEARCH (Rochester, Minn.).
"Biomarkers for detection and treatment assessment of infectious diseases and disorders" was invented by Douglas Lake (Scottsdale, Ariz.), Haiwei Gu (Scottsdale, Ariz.), Thomas Grys (Scottsdale, Ariz.), Natalie Mitchell (Phoenix) and Paniz Jasbi (Mesa, Ariz.).
