ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,445,790, issued on Oct. 14, was assigned to Alpine Electronics of Silicon Valley Inc. (Santa Clara, Calif.).

"Reproducing audio signals with a haptic apparatus on acoustic headphones and their calibration and measurement" was invented by Rocky Chau-Hsiung Lin (Cupertino, Calif.) and Thomas Yamasaki (Anaheim Hills, Calif.).
