ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,459,799, issued on Nov. 4, was assigned to Agilox Systems GmbH (Neukirchen bei Lambach, Austria).

"Fork tine and logistics vehicle" was invented by Manuel Perstling (Steinhaus, Austria).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A fork tine for preferably automated logistics vehicles include at least a shank, a heel and a blade. Fastening elements for attachment to a logistics vehicle are arranged on the shank. To form a cavity, the fork blade is made from a top layer and a rear layer which are joined, in particular screwed together, by fasteners, in particular screws."
