ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,408,865, issued on Sept. 9, was assigned to Accuvein Inc. (Medford, N.Y.).

"Vein imaging device with differential image resolution at the center and the extremities of the vein image" was invented by Fred Wood (Medford, N.Y.), Ron Goldman (Cold Spring Harbor, N.Y.), Stephen P. Conlon (Glen Mills, Pa.) and Vincent Luciano (Shoreham, N.Y.).
