ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 8 -- United States Patent no. 12,434,060, issued on Oct. 7, was assigned to ABIOMED Inc. (Danvers, Mass.).
"Blood pump with capability of electrocardiogram (EKG) monitoring, defibrillation and pacing" was invented by Qing Tan (Danvers, Mass.) and Ahmad El Katerji (Danvers, Mass.).
