ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,305,063, issued on May 20, was assigned to 3M Innovative Properties Co. (St. Paul, Minn.).

"Fluorinated coupling agents and fluorinated (co)polymer layers made using the same" was invented by Paul J. Homnick (Lake Elmo, Minn.), Thomas P. Klun (Lakeland, Minn.), Brandon R. Pietz (St. Paul, Minn.), Christopher S. Lyons (St. Paul, Minn.) and Karl K. Stensvad (Eagan, Minn.).
