US Patent Issued to 1GLOBE BIOMEDICAL, 1GLOBE HEALTH INSTITUTE on June 3 for "Treatment for non-alcoholic fatty liver disease" (Massachusetts Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 4 -- United States Patent no. 12,318,381, issued on June 3, was assigned to 1GLOBE BIOMEDICAL Co. LTD. (Beijing) and 1GLOBE HEALTH INSTITUTE LLC (Norwood, Mass.).

"Treatment for non-alcoholic fatty liver disease" was invented by Chiang J. Li (Cambridge, Mass.), Zoltan Derdak (Attleboro, Mass.) and Jifeng Liu (Winchester, Mass.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The invention provides novel methods of treating or preventing nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) including non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) in a mammal including a human."
