According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A reverse water inlet cartridge seat has a seat body with a substrate and a cylindrical wall formed around the substrate, a pair of inlet holes and an outlet hole extending through the substrate, a pair of inlet enclosing frames protruding through a top surface of the seat body, and a circular waterflow passage formed between the pair of inlet enclosing frames and the cylindrical wall of the seat body so as to form a circumferential passage.
