WASHINGTON, Feb. 11 -- Office of the Secretary has issued a rule called: Administrative Simplification: Modifications of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) National Council for Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP) Retail Pharmacy Standards; and Modification of the Medicaid Pharmacy Subrogation Standard; Delay of Effective Date.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on Feb. 11 by Dorothy A. Fink, Acting Secretary, Department of Health and Human Services.
