Washington, April 27 -- Representative James Moylan issued the following press release:
Congressman James Moylan joined Governor Lou Leon Guerrero, Lt. Governor Joshua Tenorio, and the Port Authority of Guam to celebrate nearly $60 million in federal funding to replace the Port of Guam's three aging gantry cranes.
The funding comes through the U.S. Department of Transportation's Port Infrastructure Development Program and will allow the port to purchase three new Ship-to-Shore cranes. The current cranes were built in the 1980s and purchased secondhand in 2009.
