NATIONAL PARK SERVICE ISSUES NOTICE: NOTICE OF INVENTORY COMPLETION: UNIVERSITY OF NORTH DAKOTA, GRAND FORKS, ND, AND THE STATE HISTORICAL SOCIETY OF NORTH DAKOTA, BISMARCK, ND

WASHINGTON, July 10 -- National Park Service has issued a notice called: Notice of Inventory Completion: University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, ND, and the State Historical Society of North Dakota, Bismarck, ND.

The notice was published in the Federal Register on July 10 by Melanie O'Brien, Manager, National NAGPRA Program.

Summary: In accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA), the University of North Dakota and the State Historical Society of North Dakota have completed an inventory of associated funerary objects and have determined that there is a cultural affiliation between the associated funerary objects and Indian Tribes or Native Hawaiian organizations in this notice.
